My prayers are with the Dillon family. Charlie and Duke were friends years ago and I have thought about them and there families over the years. I am sadden to know of Charlie's passing. I am sadden and wish the Lord's comfort to Duke and Helen.

You were so fun in the 5th grade, and grew into such a remarkable, fun loving successful man.    I want to assure you Duke is OK, but he sure does miss you. Duke, I was shocked to hear about your brother!  My deepest condolences to you and your family.  I will keep you and your family all in my thoughts and pray that you will find the strength and courage to get through this difficult time.

I don't know where to begin. Charlie, Duke and I (along with Bob Merklein, Rick Keener and Richard Nowak), covered an awful lot of real estate so to speak back in the day, and over the past 50 years. In college, we surfed, scuba dived, fished, drank beer, raised hell and chased girls on the beach, ad infinitum. Later we were in each other's weddings (Charlie was our best man 44 years ago), and Duke, Charlie and I along with our families even lived in the same neighborhood for years. We were inseparable as friends. We were like family. Debbie has worked for Charlie's medical supply distribution company the past 17 years. The special friendship within our group has been unique, and has meant the world. I will greatly miss you, my old friend. Debbie's and my fervent prayers of support and encouragement go out to all the family.

We were so sorry to hear this news.  We share in the sadness of your loss.  Charlie was a remarkable person! He will always be remembered in the minds and hearts of those who knew and loved him.

I remember the Dillon twins at Westbury H. S.  So sorry to hear that Charlie is gone.  My condolences to the family.  From a fellow Westbury twin, Becky Long Servat.

We are so very saddened to hear about Charlie's passing.  He will be remembered by me as one of my favorite high school dates, lamenting often about Duke getting to take the "Starfire" instead of us.  And, later knowing his heart was won by a friend and coworker of my husband.  Mary Katherine we are so sorry for your loss and are thinking of you.  Both Guy and I are with you in spirit. Charlie was a good friend, a wonderful brother, father, son, husband, grandfather, and I am sure uncle and cousin.  I first met Charlie and Duke in our 5th grade classroom.  His infectious laugh and smile always created fun, and was either followed or created by his brother and soul mate, Duke. Charlie was a good friend and will be missed a lot.  From our high school days of surfing, through the college days sharing an apartment, to present days he was a good man.  God bless.
