Charlie Floyd

Charlie was born February 3, 1944 to Buster and Nevaline Floyd of Liberty Hill, TX. Charlie was the oldest child and only boy, he was followed by his four sisters Sandy who married Jimmy Sheffield (Deceased), Diana who Married Paul Bowman, Gayla Light (Deceased), and Sallie who married Tommy Long (Deceased).

Charlie graduated from Marble Falls High School in 1963 and honorably volunteered to join the Air Force and serve his country in Vietnam in 1964. Charlie had many careers but his passions where selling cars, fishing, and hunting.

After serving his country Charlie married Rose Marie Long and had 3 children Mike, Allen, and Crystal. Later, Charlie had a second marriage to Lillian Marie Lewis Ray who came with Leslie and Skeeter making them a family of seven.

Charlie is survived by his wife Lil, his children and their spouses Mike Floyd, Allen and Tracy Floyd, Chrystal and Wayne Murray, Leslie and Sarah Ray, Skeeter and Zachary DeLeon, 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren (with 3 more on the way).

Viewing to be held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Wednesday August 2nd from 5 to 7 PM and a graveside service at Smithwick Cemetery on Thursday August 3rd at 9 AM.
