Dominic Cullen Downey

Dominic Cullen Downey was born on May 15, 1992, in Houston, TX, and died March 1, 2016, at the age of 23. He left this world all too soon. Dominic is survived by his mother, Charlene Tonning, father, Joseph Downey, and step-father, Sean Tonning, as well as his four sisters, Bridget Colleen, Kelsey Ann, Mary Genevieve, and Erin Elaine. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law, John Jarrett, nephew Cullen, and niece Genevieve. His girlfriend, Hayley Hammonds, quickly became a member of the family and their love was the kind that people could see clearly.

Dominic was a very talented artist and writer, and his soul was all too tender for this world. Our lives will not be the same without him here.

The memorial service will be held at St. John's Catholic Church in Marble Falls, TX at 11 am on Monday, March 7th. Please join us in celebrating our irreplaceable Dominic. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Dominic’s honor to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
