Earl "Roy" Leroy Sutherland

Earl, better known as “Roy,” was born to Earl G. Sutherland and Gladys M. Sutherland on May 23, 1940, in Kansas City, Kansas.

Roy is survived by his wife Robbie F. Sutherland, three children, Robert, Sondra, and “Bo” Sutherland, sister Linda Sutherland, and seven grandchildren.

Roy was a Vietnam Veteran with 20 years’ service in the US Navy. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed singing, and loved traveling with his wife Robbie. He was passionate about his Christian faith and a devoted family man.

A celebration of life will be held for Roy on August 7, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Marble Falls, 901 La Ventana Dr., Marble Falls, Tx. 78654. There will be a viewing from 9-10 am followed by a memorial at 10 am, and reception at 11am. Roy will be interred at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
