Elisha Gerome ”Cork” Martin, 82, of Marble Falls passed away Friday, June 15, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 13, 1929 in London, Texas to Bengerman Martin and Ida Nelson Martin. He served in the U.S. Army and after returning home from the military he worked in construction.
Elisha is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond, Ray and Tuff; sisters, Jean, Lorene, Johnnie May and Jo; son, Dennis; grandson, Eric and great grandson Joshua.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Martin; daughters, Gaynelle and Barbara; sons, Chip and Gary; fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and to many to count great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Buchanan Dam Community Center. (The Red Barn)
