Julia married the love of her life, Hector, in Durango, Mexico. She had 4 daughters, Olga, Mayra, Julia and Lizbeth De La Hoya. Her son in laws were Vicente Mata and Cesar Reyes. She was the grandmother of Chris Mata, Nancy Ponce, Nataly Mata, Damian Ponce, Clarissa Mata, Brandon De La Hoya, Fabian Reyes, Juliette Mata, Melanie Reyes and Joseph Mata.
Julia was a kind, humble and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She was always optimistic and strong through everything she faced. She loved her garden full of flowers and she loved to cheer on her favorite soccer team “America” when they played. Although she struggled with so much pain, God helped her through the years.
Julia was Hector’s everything. He loved her so much and where she went, he would follow.
Julia always prayed and never gave up. Even on her last days, she remained to have trust in God, knowing he would take care of the situation. Although the situation didn’t get better for her here on earth with cancer, she went to a better place. No more pain, no more suffering, just joy up above in heaven.
