Louise Smith

Louise passed from this life just 2 days shy of her 97th birthday. She was born 28 Feb 1929 in Corpus Christi, Tx to Troy O and Myrtle Holzhouser Bigham. She married Clyde H Smith on 21 May 1949. They had 3 children. She worked for the DPS in Austin Tx and retired after 20 years to the Spicewood area on the Pedernales River.

Lou loved gardening, playing penny-ante poker, fishing, her family and the Lord.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents. A brother Troy O Bigham J and wife Willa, her husband Clyde Smith, a son C. David Smith, nephew Kyle Reeves and grandson Aaron G Longest. She is survived by a sister Ruth A B Bivins and nephews Tyler, Darrel and Dwayne Reeves, her son Sammy G Smith, a daughter Deborah (Ron) Longest, daughter in law Johnette Smith, 5 grandkids Kimberley O'May (Graeme), Jason Longest Sr (Vicky), Ashley Wells, Shauna M Smith, Sammy C Smith (Jenni), 8 great grandkids Sammy Alexander Smith, Paul and Julia Mendez, Tyler, Zach and Makayla Smith- Brown, C.J.Wells, Jason Longest Jr (Alexis) and her grandson Santiago Aaron.

Nan will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 Highway 281 North, Marble Falls, Texas 78654, on March 14, 2026, at 10:00 am followed by a Chapel Service at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest in the Haynie Flat Cemetery in Spicewood, Texas.
