

Mary Ann Cradoct, 92, beloved wife, mother and grandmother went to be with her Heavenly Father Thursday, October 27, 2022. She was born to Clement and Flossie Marie Riggs, August 24, 1930 in Birmingham, Alabama.
She married the love of her life, Jacob W. Cradoct, February 27, 1953. They were married for 69 years and were an amazing example of love to all who knew them. Mary Ann was J.W.'s biggest fan, supporter and documented his career as a coach and Athletic Director. They had five children, including one set of twins, each thirteen months apart.
Mary Ann became a Christian as a teenager and lived her life with that as her priority. She served the Lord in so many ways including being a Sunday School teacher, Director, Choir member, working with Awana, Prison Ministry, Grief Share and mission work, including a trip to Africa.
One of eight siblings, she was the first in her family to attend college, graduating from Mary Hardin Baylor. She belonged to the Delta Kappa Gamma sorority. Mary Ann went on to receive her Master's degree and became a junior high/middle school Counselor after teaching at the elementary level for several years.
Mary Ann cherished their summer breaks and being able to travel with her husband. She also loved flowers, wildlife, camping and photography. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed entertaining.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, J.W. Cradoct Sr., her children: Cindy Willhite (John), Debbie Sosebee (Marc), Barbara Ysasi (Ruben), Betty Harville (David) and Jay Cradoct Jr. (Diane), her grandchildren: Michael Willhite, Nicolas Willhite, Julie Schmid, Jamie Sosebee, Reagan Sosebee, Yvonne Ysasi, Shaun Chisholm, Ruben Ysasi, David Salinas, Sonny Salinas, Sheena Cradoct-Allen, Jacob Cradoct III, Samuel Cradoct and Naomi Cradoct, sister, Peggy Christopher, brother Bobby Riggs and many other great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be at First Baptist Marble Falls Saturday November 5, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Services will be held at First Baptist Marble Falls, Texas, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside service will be at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, Burnet, Texas immediately following.
