

Ross Jackson, age 90, of Meadowlakes was born August 8, 1922, in Liberty Hill, Texas to Chester and Ida (Perry). He passed away on January 11, 2013, in Round Rock at Seton Williamson County Hospital.
Ross graduated from Monument High School in New Mexico and Hardin-Simmons University. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a pilot with the rank of First Lieutenant. He was a longtime member of Marble Falls First United Methodist Church and a member of Blazing Star Masonic Lodge No. 413 A.F. & A.M. in Marble Falls. Ross retired as a District Manager for the Hughes Christensen Drilling Equipment Company as District Manager.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth; son, Buzz; 2 grandchildren, Michael and Kelly, and her husband Marc; 5 great-grandchildren and 4 nieces and nephews, Nancy, Suzie, Rusty and Mike. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Chester “Jiggs” Jackson.
Visitation is Monday , January 14, 2013 from 5 -7 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls. Funeral Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at the Marble Falls First United Methodist Church. Military Honors and interment will follow at Andice Cemetery in Andice, Texas.
