Susan Gammill

Susan passed away on August 4 surrounded by her children who will honor her memory by being faithful stewards of the world for a better future.

A proud graduate of the University of Texas in Physical Therapy, she helped injured and disabled people gain abilities to navigate the world more easily. Susan’s nationally awarded work as a Girl Scout outdoor trainer taught the next generation of girls survival skills and best ecological practices to preserve and restore the natural world for future generations.

Her greatest work for a better world came in the care and time dedicated to children as they are the future. She adored all children, especially her beloved grandchildren with whom she delighted in sharing the wonders and beauty of art, music, and nature.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband Lee, and will be lovingly remembered by her brother, sister, children, and grandchildren. A memorial honoring her life will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 4:30 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Marble Falls, Texas. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center or to your favorite charity in Susan’s memory.
