

We are saddened to announce the passing of a remarkable woman whose life was defined by love, dedication, and fierce spirit.
She was a passionate genealogist who devoted countless hours to uncovering family histories and contributing to Find A Grave, bringing comfort and connection to families across generations. Her research helped countless others find peace in knowing where they came from.
A keeper of tradition, she lovingly compiled a cherished family cookbook, preserving recipes, memories, and the flavors that defined so many special moments. Her kitchen always smelt amazing, her food always warm, and her heart always full.
Known as the master of event planning and the very heart of the holidays, she poured her energy into every gathering, big or small. She had a gift for turning ordinary moments into lasting memories, and her celebrations brought people together in joy and laughter.
Strong-willed and feisty, she lived life on her own terms. Her strength inspired everyone around her, and her bold spirit will be remembered with both admiration and a smile.
She is survived by her loving husband James Embrey; devoted children Kristine (Daniel) Whisenant, Jerry (Laurie) Bennett; stepchildren Chuck Embrey, Brenda (Patrick) Malone, Laurie (Tom) Cosby; sister Kay Naphy; brother-in-law David (Dana) Embrey; sister-in-laws Rosemary (Mike) Taylor, Shirley (Tony) Dankowski; grandchildren Jonathan, Roger, Shawn, Justin, Nicole, Sage, Allison, Madison, Patrick, Audie, Cheryl, Casondra, Jay, Jacob, Alexandra, as well as numerous great grandchildren and other relatives.
Terry touched the lives of so many. Her kindness, love, and unwavering spirit will forever live in the memories of those who knew and loved her.
