Wesley was an easy baby but decided he was ready to try keeping up with his brother by walking just shy of eight months. He loved the outdoors and embraced pretty days outside; horseback
riding, playing in water and mud, walks in the country, mule and four-wheeler rides, fishing, and pretend hunting trips. He was always up for arcade games and never passed up the chance to tell us he wanted to go to Gattiland or Putters and Gutters. Wesley loved water and would ask to take a minimum of AT LEAST three baths a day with all his favorite toys. As he got older, his spunky rambunctious brother began having a bigger influence and he loved to wrestle and fight. After watching Rocky 4, the boys would blare Eye of the Tiger, gear up with boxing gloves and assign one person Rocky and the other Drago... Mommy had to stay close to monitor safe practices.
Wesley was only two, but he understood the beauty of the church. He loved singing, specifically “Trust and Obey” and “There’s a Great Day Coming”. He enjoyed going to bible class and most recently learning about the book of Genesis with all of God’s promises. We too, have confidence in God’s promises and truly can find joy and comfort that our sweet Wesley is in Jesus’ arms. We will miss him so much but will strive daily to be faithful and obedient to God to see Him again in heaven.”
