Tom and June were blessed with 6 children Aleta (Jeff), Anita (Fran), Alane (Steve), Allison (Dan), Anne (Matt), and Tom. They have 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, with 1 more on the way. He was the anchor of the family, grounding his children and their spouses with love, guidance, and strength. He was the son of Thomas Astley Cooper and Elmira Betts Cooper and brother to Keith (Hilma), Neil (Barbara) and Priscilla (Fred).
Tom graduated with a BA from Haverford College and a BS from Drew University. He completed programs in Graduate Management at the Wharton School and Management Development at Harvard Business School. His legacy lives within us, a quiet strength, fierce wisdom, and unshakable resolve passed down from a man who faced the world with courage, carved his path with intelligence and pride and placed family above all. We will miss our rock, but we take comfort in knowing he walks with God and is reunited with our mom June and our sister Alane in heaven.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 26 at 11:00 am at Marco Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Naples Community Hospital or the Marco Lutheran Church.
