He took on part time jobs from the age of 12, determined to see the world. From real estate to manufacturing furniture in Hawaii, Bill traveled the country pursuing his dreams but always landed back in Naples. It's here that Bill met Jeane, who was the daughter of Kay from Kay's on the Beach. Both really wanted to build something, so Bill redesigned the Marco store, painting it pink and adding a second floor, including a complimentary bar for the gentlemen with a T.V. and a classic 1926 Mercedes parked in front. It was Bill who designed all the Kay's on the Beach stores in Naples, from Olde Naples to the latest store at the Promenade. They ran a total of 5 stores together.
The greatest joy for Bill was his son, Banks, born later in life but the love of his life. From greyhounds, emus, and lemurs to cats, Bill loved animals, and the house was always full.
Bill is survived by his wife Jeane; son Banks; sister Lois (Kevin) Romer; niece and nephew Annie and Andrew; brother Bob (Arlene) Seiple; and dear nephew Aaron (Tammy) Seiple. For only passing through he left a very bright trail. He was the "Music Man."
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 2:00pm at Hodges-Josberger Funeral Home, 577 E. Elkcam Circle, Marco Island, Florida.
Bill Seiple left behind a true legacy in Naples, Marco Island, and Bonita Springs, Florida.
