Mr. Allan C. Smith, 66, of Marietta, GA passed away September 8, 2013. He was born on May 14, 1947 in Jackson, MS to the late James Walter Smith and Mary Katherine Smith-Bond. After Allan’s graduation from Murrah High School, he attended Mississippi State University and Millsap’s College. Allan served 4 years honorably in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed a career with IBM and after his retirement, he owned a personal computer business. He loved to work on computers. Allan was a devoted and loving husband and generous to his many friends. His dry sense of humor will be greatly missed. Allan is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lynda A. Smith, sister, Anne Smith, many cousins and dear friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 3:00pm in the chapel of H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill.
