Anthony J. Chimera, 87, of Marietta, GA passed away on October 2, 2017. He was born in Buffalo, NY on May 27, 1930. He earned a B.S. and M.S. of Electrical Engineering from the University of Buffalo. He was married to Judith Chimera (Juchnowski) for 49 years. Tony worked as a Radar Engineer for Calspan Corporation, Georgia Tech Research Institute, Scientific Research Corporation, and Lockheed Martin. He had a passion for fishing, opera, everything about Buffalo, NY, and his grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Tony, daughter in law, Rebecca, grandchildren, Ryan, Zach and Nate, his brothers Charles Chimera and Reverend Angelo Chimera, many nieces and nephews, and his wife, Judith.
Funeral Arrangements will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son, Canton Hill Chapel on October 6, 2017 from 5 to 7pm. Additionally, arrangements will be held in Buffalo, NY.
