.Barbara Ann Davenport died peacefully on April 18, 2016 surrounded by family after a long illness. Barbara was born on September 3, 1934, in Blue Ridge, Georgia, the daughter of Fred A. and Mattie L. Jarrard.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joseph B. Davenport, Sr., 5 children, Mrs. Lydia Wadsworth, Joey Davenport, James Davenport, Tony Davenport and Scott Davenport. She is also survived by one brother, Jim Jarrard, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brother Billy Jarrard, her sister Sue Marshall and her grandson Andrew Halyard. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.
