She was born July 25, 1939 in Atlanta, GA. She attended Grady High School and Southern Methodist University and in 1968 she married Howard Wayne Edwards. She began her career in the Fulton County School system and then moved into gaining her master’s degree in psychology to build her own business as a personal therapist
She loved serving her church community, listening to others, and doting on her grandchildren and step grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her son Howard Wayne Edwards, Jr. and her husband Howard Wayne Edwards, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her twin sons, Robert J. Edwards and James S. Edwards; her sister, Bobbie Jean Dean and her husband, Allen Dean; two nephews, Andy and Brian Dean.
