Carolyn Lee Robbins, age 79, of Marietta, GA, passed away on November 14, 2025. Born in 1946 to Chester and Nedra Woods, Carolyn grew up surrounded by love and family values that shaped the remarkable woman she became.
A graduate of Northbrook High School, Carolyn held various jobs throughout her life, but her most cherished role was that of devoted wife and mother. For 60 years, she lovingly dedicated herself to raising her two daughters and caring for her husband, Stuart Robbins. Her passing came just 16 days after Stuart’s, a testament to their lifelong bond.
In her spare time, Carolyn filled her life—and the lives of those around her—with joy and connection. She loved to travel and was a voracious reader, as well as a published author. Known as the social director among her friends and neighbors, she enthusiastically coordinated Bunco games, gourmet dinner gatherings, vacations, and wine tastings. Her passion for gardening, both floral and vegetable, brought beauty and bounty to her home. An exceptional baker, Carolyn was especially known for her Christmas cookies, which she shared generously with family, friends, and even the mailman each year.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Stuart.
She is survived by her daughters, Angi Sago and Cindy Sacheli; her grandchildren, Samantha Lambert, Austin Sago, Elli Johnson, Corey Johnson, Isabella Sacheli, and Gabriella Sacheli; and her great-grandson, Finley Lambert.
A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Carolyn’s name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research at Give.Michaeljfox.org.
