Cary Pierson Chalfonte

Our Most Beloved, Husband, Father, Grandfather, & Great-Grandfather, Cary Pierson Chalfonte, died Tuesday, March 26th, 2024. He was surrounded by his family. Mr. Chalfonte, is survived by his wife, Maria, children; Amado and Jennifer Tinahui and their children, Matthew, Benjamin, and Kellynn and Zackary Hogue. Alain and Kris Hollingsworth and their children, Daniel, Anna, and Jacob. Gina and Rodney Castro and their children, Memphis and Olivia, Lila, and William Minkkinen. His sister Leslie and nephew Noah Taylor.

Most of all, he treasured dearly his first great-granddaughter, being the apple of his eye, light of his life, most favorite person in the world. He loved getting on the floor playing with her and fighting over television channels.

Whenever possible, his love for traveling, golf and tennis, Friday night game nights with the boys, and generally just being in the middle of the action; kept him going strong and loving every moment that could be enjoyed.

Mr. Chalfonte, no matter what happened in his life, the devote love for the Lord, serving, witnessing, giving, defined his core belief.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 o’clock until 2:00 o’clock, Saturday, March 30th, 2024, at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway South, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. At 2:00 o’clock, a Celebration and Memory of his life, will be held in the Funeral home Chapel. His ashes will be placed at rest, on a later date.
