Mrs. Colleen J. Grider, age 89, of Marietta, GA, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Colleen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Kenneth Grider. She is survived by her daughter; Beverly Hawes(William) of Woodstock, GA; son Kenneth Tip Grider(Vickie) of Woodstock, GA; sister Norita Cannon(Ed) of Birmingham, AL.; Granddaughter Brooke Hatch(Joshua) of Woodstock, GA; Grandson Nichols Grider(Jessica) of Woodstock, GA; Granddaughter Brittany Hawes of Woodstock; Great-Grandsons Carter and Grady Hatch of Woodstock; Great-Granddaughter Isla Hatch of Woodstock. Colleen worked for many years at Lockheed-Martin and also for Macy’s. She enjoyed shopping, reading, crocheting, cooking, and most of all, her family.
A chapel service will be held Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 2 o’clock in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Banks Brazel officiating.
A visitation will be held Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home between the hours of 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
