OBITUARY
Helen Gray Allsup
19 February, 1939 – 15 January, 2023

The Allsup family is sad to announce the death of Helen Key Allsup, of Dallas, Georgia. She died on Sunday, January 15th, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was proudly a wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Most of all, she was the best of the best and our rock; our Nanny. Nanny was born in Anniston, Alabama and a Daughter to the late, Mary Helen Key & William Harvey Key of Anniston AL
Nanny worked at Diversified Assembly in Austell, GA for about 18 years then retired to care for Grandchildren. Nanny, was married to her husband, Clinton Durrell Allsup, for 66 years, of happy marriage.
Together, they brought –forth, their daughter, Stephanie Layne Allsup-Hoffman. She was a loving Grandmother to Courtney Morgan Evans , Zachary Thomas Evans , Casey Megan Jones and Tyler Wayne Jones; the BEST Great Grandmother to Ryder Clinton Evans, Rinley Gray Evans, Jacob Thomas Evans, Judson O'Neal Evans, Carter Wayne Jones and Cambree Layne Jones. All of the family live in Dallas, Georgia
Nanny had 6 siblings preceded her in death; William (Billy) Key, Elizabeth Ann Mitchell, Gerald (Jerry) Key, Peggy Jane Clark, Ruby Gail Smith & Martha Louise Collins.
She is survived by 2 of her siblings, Mary Evelyn Jennings and Brenda Joyce Rains.
The family will receive friends, from 12:00 until 1:00 o’clock, Wednesday, January 18th, 2023, at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway S.E., Marietta, Georgia, 30060. Nanny will be laid to rest, in a Graveside Service, at 1:00 o’clock.
