Isabel Jane Brady, beloved daughter of Nate and Allison Brady, passed away while in her parents' arms on Friday, January 26th. Isabel was born on January 23, 2018. Prior to birth Isabel was diagnosed with a rare chromosomal anomaly, Trisomy 13 (refers to having an extra copy of the 13th chromosome). Though her time on this side of eternity was brief, Isabel’s life was a testament to God’s goodness in the midst of difficulty.
Isabel is lovingly remembered by her parents, Nate and Allison Brady; brother, Solomon; maternal grandparents, Steven and Diane Cummings; paternal grandparents, Ann and Jim Ewel, and Lee and Joy Brady; great-grandparents, Ruth Bistline, Jane Polk, and Jenny Brady; and countless others who’s lives her story touched.
Our deepest gratitude is extended to all our friends and family who prayed for us and walked beside us on this journey, and to the courageous doctors, nurses and staff of Northside Hospital Women’s Center and NICU who provided attentive, loving, and special care to our precious baby girl.
We will celebrate Isabel’s life with a balloon release on Sunday, February 11th. We encourage friends and family, where ever they are, to pause and remember Isabel and release a balloon in her memory. We will be wearing sunglasses that day in memory of her, something she was accustomed to wearing in the NICU.
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:13
