He was the son of the late Ralph and Millie Bramblett. Dennis was born on March 19, 1949 in Rome, Georgia. Dennis grew up in Shannon, Georgia. He was an outstanding student and excelled as a baseball and football player at Model High School. After graduating from high school, he was accepted to Georgia Tech and played on Tech's baseball team his freshman year. Dennis was a loyal Yellow Jacket his entire life.
He began his career as a commodity broker with Merrill Lynch. He later joined Morgan Stanley as a financial planner and Vice President.
In 1977, he married the love of his life, Joan, a transplanted Yankee from Battle Creek, Michigan - a fact he was always eager to share. They raised their children in East Cobb and chose to spend their retirement years at Lake Oconee.
Dennis was passionate about Tech, golf and all sports. He would joke that he would even watch ping pong as long as they were keeping score. He was proud to have run several Peachtree Road races. His family was the greatest pride of his life.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Julie Bramblett.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joan Bramblett; his children, Casey Bull, John Bramblett and Lindsay (Stephen) Moore; his grandchildren, Brody Bull, Garrett Moore, Emma Kate Moore, and Anderson Moore. He is also survived by his sister, Paula Freeman and half-brother, Chad Bramblett and step-mother, Judy Bramblett. There are also many extended family members and friends to cherish his memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dennis' name to a charity of choice.
