She was born and raised in Plattsburgh, NY where she attended Beekmantown Central School District.
Preceded in death by her father, Harry Leo Webber; son, Michael Payton; daughter-in-law, Rena Payton; brothers-in-law, Harold Dominy and Carlton Kirk.
Survived by her husband of 53 years, Edmond D. Payton. Jr.; sons, Steven Payton and his wife, Jennifer, Matthew Payton and his wife, Connie; mother, Pearl Elizabeth Webber; sisters, Joan Dominy, Susan Clenney; 7 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday September 3 at 2 PM in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Headrick officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 11 AM until 2 PM Friday at the funeral home.
