Joan Anne Sawicki, of Decatur Ga, passed away peacefully on Friday 3/14/2025, at the age of 93. She is preceded in death by her parents Irene and Henry Olinski, her husband Richard Sawicki and her sons Steven,Mark, Donald and David Sawicki. She is survived by her children Carol Stone, Susan (David) Sowers, Paul (Dana) Sawicki, Lynne(Sandee Jarnac)Sawicki and Diane (Mario) Amato. To include multiple grandchildren: Jason Stone,Brandi Stone Wall and Jerrell Stone, Maggie Sawicki Violand,Joseph and Ryan Sawicki, Michelle and Michael(Theresa) Sowers, Joshua(Rebecca)and Karen Cremeans, and all 14 great grandchildren!
Joan was a spitfire- full of dry humor and quick witted. She loved her children and was equally ecstatic when holding one of her grand children or great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on April 20, 2025 from 12-4pm @ 164 E. Main Street, Mount Sterling, Ohio 43143. Interment will be held May 5, 2025 at Dignity Memorial Park 2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, Ga. 30060
