John Jeffrey Marotto

John Jeffery Marotto, age 70, Atlanta, Georgia passed away on March 7, 2025. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois to Judith Henrietta John Francis Marotto in 1954. He graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School In 1973. He worked for Marriott International and retired after 35 years of dedicated service. After retirement, he dedicated his time leading the Career Quest Ministry for 17 years at the Catholic Church of St Ann, Marietta, Ga.

In his spare time, John enjoyed spending quality time with his wife, Patricia and their children. He also enjoyed traveling, photography, hunting, taking nature walks.

He is preceded in death by his father, John F Marotto; mother, Judith H Marotto (Taken); his sister, Phyllis Colantuno (Joseph); sister, Joan Marcotte and brother-in-law, Donald Zeedyk (Carol).

John is survived by his wife, Patricia Marotto (nee Buffa); daughter, Jessica Paige Marotto; son, Jonathan Christopher Marotto (Elizabeth Ann); grandsons, Jack Christopher Marotto and Owen John Marotto; Patricia’s sister, Carol Zeedyk; loving nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews and many loving cousins all to cherish his memory.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled at Catholic Church of St Ann’s, 4905 Roswell Rd, Marietta, GA 30062, March 27, 11:00 am with a reception to follow.
