John T Simone Jr.

Mr. John T. Simone, Jr, 69 of Marietta, GA passed away on April 11, 2012. He was born to the late John, Sr and Frances Simone on May 17, 1942 in Cleveland, OH. He graduated from Cleveland State University, previously known as Fenn College. In 1978 he joined the team at Polysius Corporation and retired in 2003. John loved to put together jig saw puzzles, go on cruises, watch Jeopardy, and was an avid world traveler and water skier, but he will be remembered most for being a loving father and husband. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Denyce M. Simone, son John “Jay” (Wendy), Simone, III, daughter Michele Simone, grandchildren Megan, Rachel and Shane Simone and brothers Ken (Kathy) Simone, Marty (Debbie) Simone and Robert (Penny) Simone. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 11:00am at The Catholic Church of St. Ann. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill. The family will accept flowers or you may send donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Ann’s, 4905 Roswell Rd, Marietta, GA 30062.
