COTTONE, Sr., Joseph R., (Mr. C), 85, of Marietta, GA, passed away August 25, 2014. A native of Brooklyn, NY Joseph lived many years in South Florida before spending the last 35 years of his life in Marietta. He was a devoted husband and dedicated father. He was the Chairman of Advance Medical Designs, Inc, Marietta since opening the doors in 1984. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ellen Cottone for whom he was married 60 years. Joseph was also preceded in death by his parents Salvatore (Charlie) and Mildred Cottone, and a son, Charles J. Cottone. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-laws, Thomas E. and Andrea Cottone of Destin, FL, Joseph R. Cottone, Jr. of Marietta, John M. and Cristina Cottone of Acworth and Anthony J. and Joanna Cottone of Roswell; daughter, Mildred and Stan Hutson of Cumming; and daughter-in-law, Cindy Cottone of Boca Raton, FL; 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 6PM-8PM. Visitation also on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 10AM – 11AM.
