Joseph Negron, Sr., age 80, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia, and their seven sons, as well as two brothers. Joe was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Joe was born in New York on December 24, 1942 and then moved to Palm Beach County, Florida with his parents. He married Patricia in 1960 and together they brought up a family of seven boys. Joe had 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
For most of his career, Joe was a high school English teacher and a school principal. After retiring from education, he owned and operated a residential painting company in Marietta.
Joe will be remembered as a kind and gracious man whose greatest delight was spending time with his boys, usually in some type of sporting activity. He was a lifelong Los Angeles Dodgers fan. He was dedicated to his wife Patricia, who provided loving support to him during his final illness.
A private family gathering to honor his life will be held at a later time.
