

Born in Virginia to the late Thomas George Skipper and Emily Simmonds Skipper, Kathleen lived a life marked by deep devotion to her family, her faith, and her community. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Kathleen is survived by her two daughters, Tammi Johnson and Tina Kraft; four grandchildren, Kate Kraft, Kris Kraft, Klair Stringer, and Kim McLemore; and nine cherished great-grandchildren. Her legacy lives on in each of them, a testament to her boundless love and unwavering support.
A woman of strong faith, Kathleen was an active member of her church and found great joy in service and fellowship. She was also known for her love of animals, especially her loyal dog who was always by her side.
Kathleen will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, and the love she poured into every aspect of her life. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion.
A celebration of Kathleen’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to a local animal shelter or church community outreach program.
