Mark Louis Vignault

Mark was born on August 10, 1964, in Waltham, MA to parents Walt and Jane Johnson Vignault. In 1977 the Vignault family relocated to Georgia and settled in Marietta. Mark was a 1982 graduate of Marist School and went on to graduate from Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, NC in 1988 with a degree in history. While at Belmont Abbey he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity whose founding principles are virtue, diligence and brotherly love. Mark exemplified all of these virtues.

Before attending college he spent a year in France with his family while they were living there on a work assignment. He had the opportunity to travel in Europe and then to India and the Far East on the way home. Possessing a wonderful memory of places, things, people, movies and music he always had something to add to the conversation. We will miss that. Mark worked in sales, customer service and lastly at Petite Auberge Restaurant on N. Druid Hills Rd.

He is survived by his father, Walter L. Vignault of Marietta; his mother, Jane J. Vignault of Marietta; brother, John (Rowena Rivera) Vignault of San Francisco, CA; sister, Michelle (Tracy Fink) of Atlanta and two dear nieces. Also aunts, an uncle and numerous cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 2 o’clock at the Catholic Church of St. Ann, 4905 Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30062. The Rite of Committal will take place after the Memorial Service at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mt. Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
