Martha Sybil Kendrick, 94, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George Albert Kendrick. She is survived by daughters Linda Hays and Betty Cooper; sons-in-law Donald Hays and Randy Cooper; grandchildren Jeff Cooper, Jesse Padgett, and Jerry Padgett; great-grandson Caleb Padgett; sister, Mary Kendrick, and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kendrick was a lifelong resident of Cobb County and member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. She devoted her life to helping others. She was loved by everyone and considered a second mother by many.
Memaw, as she was known by her grandchildren and great-grandchild, will be greatly missed. We take comfort in knowing she is pain free and living an eternal life with loved ones in Heaven.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, today, Thursday, May 21st, 2015, at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2000 Cobb Parkway S.E., Marietta, Georgia, 30060. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held in the Georgia Memorial chapel, at 11:00 o’clock, Friday, May 22nd, 2015. Interment will follow on the Georgia Memorial Parks grounds.
