Dear Alfred, Helen and Sarah,
         I was shocked and saddened to hear belatedly of your loss of dear Memory. I remember with fondness her hospitality in your lovely Gilo home and appreciated her fellowship,insights, sense of humour and contagious laugh.  I still have and use her recipe for banana bread that she generously wrote out for me. Thankful she is safe in the arms of Jesus.
         I pray  you  know God’s  comfort  and strength as you cope with the necessary adjustments you continue to make,

I will always remember Memory as one who said exactly as she thought. No ambiguities with Memory, she was sharp and direct, and we really appreciated her clarity and honesty. Both Alfred and Memory were mentors to us and we felt that Memory was like an aunt to our young daughters in those early years at Christ Church. As I saw it Memory was the solid rock behind the scenes supporting the strategic work that Alfred was called to do. It was a real honour and privilege to have served together with Memory. Dear Alfred and family, 
So sad to hear of Memory's passing. It brought back so many thoughts of our time together in Jerusalem at such a very strategic time for us all. I'm so glad I was able to catch up with you both in the US some years ago. 
I remember the home groups we had at your house in Gilo and the work Memory did in helping the ministry, and seeing the girls grow up and flourish. 
I often quote something you said to the congregation at the beginning of one of the wars: "A man is immortal until his work is done." And it seems Memory's work on earth is done", but her memory lives on and we are grateful for the hope of eternal life. Grace, peace and comfort from "the God of all comfort" to you and all the family as you mourn her passing.

I remember Memory as having an infectious laugh and quick to say funny things. Mama (Mary Dana) says as a young girl, Memory  loved to sit by mama to pat her crinoline skirts .Mama adored that -and being around all of big Memory and Frank’s children. So much love to your family from ours, and blessings for peace and courage.
