Nancy B. Elder

Nancy graduated from Wheeler High School and went on to live a life full of friendship, laughter, and connection. A true social butterfly, she loved chatting on the phone for hours with friends, going out with those closest to her, shopping, and enjoying margaritas while browsing for clothes and home décor.

Nancy had a creative spirit and was especially talented in crafting and decorating. She took great joy in making spaces warm and beautiful. In her downtime, she was an avid fan of the television shows Friends, The Big Bang Theory, and Young Sheldon, which brought her comfort and many laughs.

Nancy will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her love of friendship, and the joy she brought to those around her.

Along with her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Elder; daughter, Lindsay Elder and sister, Gail Bennett.

She is survived by her daughters, Haley Elder and Julie Wilkin; granddaughter, Rosemary Pallas; sister, Susan Bennett; brother, Robert Bennett; and extended family members and friends to cherish her memory,

A service to honor the life of Nancy B. Elder will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at HM Patterson Canton Hill Funeral Home.
