Nora Ann Jordan

Nora earned an Associate degree from Middle Georgia College and after many dedicated years, retired from DuPont. Throughout her life, she enjoyed traveling to see the many wonders of the world. Nora enjoyed knitting, quilting and tending to her gardens but above all, cherished the quality time she spent with her many friends and family.

Along with her parents, Nora is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin E. Jordan; sisters, Martha Brenan and Sadie Kline; and brothers, Harry Thompson and Grannon Thompson.

Nora is survived by sons, Blan (Anna) Jordan, Brad (Angie) Jordan and Brit (Mindy) Jordan; sister, Dixie King; brother, Ross Thompson; grandchildren, Laura Jordan, Will Jordan, Colt Jordan, Ben Jordan, Joshua Jordan, and Elizabeth Fiddler.

A Memorial Service to honor Mrs. Nora Jordan will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 12:00pm at Eastside Baptist Church 2450 Lower Roswell Rd., Marietta, GA 30068. Friends are cordially invited for a visitation one hour prior to the service.
