Patricia Ann Murray of, Marietta, Georgia passed away on May 10, 2018 at the age of 74. She was born in 1944 to the late William and Genevieve Moffatt. After dedicating her life to raising her three sons, she attended Akron University and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in special education from Kent State University. She then was employed by Akron City Schools where she positively impacted the lives of many underprivileged special education students. Pat was an accomplished artist. In her spare time she enjoyed art, which included painting and drawing; volunteering her time to help others, enjoying nature and traveling. She shared her faith with others including being active at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
Pat was dearly loved by her husband of two years, Bob Zepf. In addition to her husband Bob, she is survived by her sons, David Murray (Catherine), Stephen Murray (Angela), Kevin Murray (Kelly); grandchildren: Caroline, Jack, Katherine, Grace, Ashlei and Alexandra Murray; sisters, Shirley Polefrone, Barbara Brett and Lynne Lieberth. Pat is preceded in death by her first husband of 46 years, Michael Murray and granddaughter, Lindsay Murray.
A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, May 18, 2018 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church followed by a reception at Nolan Hall. Immediately following the reception, guests are welcomed at the home of Kevin and Kelly Murray.
