Born on January 17, 1978, Patrick was the son of Susan Caroline (Jackson) and Jimmy Leon Pitts. He was preceded in death by his father, as well as his grandparents Edsel and Reva Pitts, and John Louis and Caroline Jackson.
Patrick is survived by his mother, Susan Pitts; his siblings, Brandon (Young Ha) Pitts, Christian (Meredith) Pitts, and Caroline (Josh) Haynes; his nephews, Danny, Jackson, Davis, and Ben; and his nieces, Leah, Natalie, Amanda, and Clara.
Patrick had a big personality and a witty sense of humor. He enjoyed making up words and being silly—entertaining his family during a game of Shanghai Rummy—or just having too much fun with his nieces and nephews, whom he loved and they him. He had a wide-ranging love of music—from Coolio to Classical—and was a talented pianist. He also enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen, cooking meals for his family. Rumor is that he never found a hot sauce that was hot enough.
While we mourn for the life unlived, we find peace and joy in the knowledge that Patrick accepted Jesus as His Lord and Savior, a grace extended to all of us freely, and is now free from pain and suffering.
“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:23-24)
In lieu of flowers, tip extra at Waffle House next time—where Patrick enjoyed working for many years.
A funeral service will be held at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia on April 28th at 3:00 p.m.
