

Patsy Daniel Delohery, age 79, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. She was born in Danville, Virginia on June 7, 1944 to the late Burroughs Asa Daniel and Annie Matt Hodge Daniel. She graduated from Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech with a MBA, Major in Finance, Virginia Tech with a BS- Structural Engineering. In her early career, she was a quality assurance manager with Network Communication Inc. and most recent, Pat was President of Delohery & Associates which is a marketing company specifically established to market and promote "Lamb to the Slaughter" , a novel by her late husband, Pete Delohery.
She also volunteered with Cobb County Public Library System teaching IT classes to citizens of Cobb County and was also on the board of the local Cobb County YMCA where she did initial design for a new battered women shelter able to accommodate forty persons per night.
She was known as a workhorse, if you needed mess cleaned up, processes implemented, Pat was the person you called. She had a unique skill of delivering projects on time, within budget with a high degree of customer satisfaction. It was said that her subject matter knowledge combined with her interpersonal skills made her an asset to any organization.
Funeral service will be held Monday, June 26, 2023 at 11:00 am at HM PATTERSON CANTON HILL CHAPEL. Guest will received an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the The Pete and Pat Delohery Fund c/o The Salvation Army in her memory in lieu of flowers.
