Rebecca Harwell Harmon

Mrs. Rebecca (Becky) Harwell Harmon of Marietta, GA passed away peacefully Thursday morning, September 18, 2025, at the age of 82. She was born December 31st, 1942 in Pulaski, Tennessee, a daughter of the late William O. and Vera P. Harwell.

Becky was preceded in death by her sister Mary H. Brock and brothers William B. Harwell and Thomas A. Harwell.

She was born and raised on a farm in Donahue Hollow near Pulaski, Tennessee, proudly claiming to be a “country girl” until her very last days. She graduated from Giles County High School where she was voted Queen of Hearts Attendant, Football Queen Attendant, and Princess of Charm. She later met her husband, Jack Clifford Harmon, in Pulaski where they began their family with two sons, Jack II and Brad. They eventually moved to Marietta, GA where she dedicated her life to raising her boys and supporting her husband. After both boys graduated college, she became instrumental in the founding and development of a successful wealth management firm, Harmon Financial Advisors, with her husband Jack. When she was not working or spending time with her family, she and Jack traveled the world, touring six continents and visiting many destinations from China to Africa.

She had an infectious laugh – she had a great sense of humor and a warm smile. As a wonderful cook she loved making southern dishes and was especially known for her banana pudding and pecan pies. She had a bit of an adventurous streak, whether it was going on a road trip with a grandchild with no particular destination, or flying alone to England to visit a grandchild in college. Becky also had a keen eye for interior decorating and enjoyed living on the Chattahoochee River.

Becky is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Jack C. Harmon, two sons Jack C. Harmon II (Susan) of Roswell and Bradley O. Harmon (Kimberly) of Marietta, and sister Edith H. Behel of Old Hickory, TN, several grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Becky will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the committal service will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, an organization Jack and Becky supported in her later life.
