Mr. Robert E. “Bobby” Morris, age 71, of Marietta, passed away January 13, 2016. He graduated from Bass High School. He played football and made All City Twice. He was in the Georgia Army National Guard and worked for Atlantic Envelope, Georgia Pacific, Unipro and Comp U Credit. Mr. Morris was an avid reader and supported Thornwell Home for Children where he lived as a child.
Survived by his children, Scott and Tanya Morris, Chris Morris; brother, Jimmy and Jenny Morris; sister, Mary and Gene Bell; grandchildren, Evan Morris and Owen Morris; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday Jan. 18 at 2 PM in the Winkenhofer Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Wayne Meadows officiating.
Interment with military honors will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends between the hours of 12 Noon and 2 PM Monday at the funeral home.
