She was a member of True Gospel Baptist Church, The WWOW’s and was League Secretary for the Beat the House Team at Brunswick Zone in Austell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis M and Mary Bryant; sister, Edwina Drummond.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ronald “Poncho” Ponzio; daughters, Veronica and Mark Mingo, Jennifer Acree; brother, Keith Bryant; granddaughter, Isabella Mingo; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday May 7 at 2 PM in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home, with Rev. Gene Wagner and Rev. Robert Bryant officiating.
Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 12 Noon and 8 PM Friday (TODAY) at the funeral home.
