Sandra Dale Oakes

Sandra Dale Oakes, age 72, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025. She was born on July 14, 1952 in Waycross, Georgia. Sandra graduated from Waycross High School, where she earned her diploma. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who cherished her family and friends deeply.

Sandra was married for 54 years to her devoted husband, Nolan Oakes. Together, they built a life full of love and cherished memories. Sandra's kindness, warmth, and generosity were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Roy S. Bennett and Janie Ruth Bennett.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Nolan Oakes; children, Michael Oakes, Jason Oakes and Ashley Oakes; grandchildren, Peyton Oakes and Chandler Oakes; sisters, Phyllis (Arthur) Boyd, Karen (Johnny) Waters, and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly. Sandra's legacy of love, care, and strength will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life Gathering to honor Sandra will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 between the hours of 12:00pm and 2:00pm at HM Patterson Canton Hill Chapel, 1157 Old Canton Rd, Marietta, Georgia.
