He attended Riverdale Country Day School in the Bronx, where he excelled academically, earning recognition as a top scholar while becoming a star running back for Coach Frank Bertino. Steve continued his education at Harvard University and Harvard Law School, where he established the foundation for an illustrious legal career.
A brilliant litigator, Steve earned widespread respect for his expertise, integrity, and unwavering commitment to his craft and clients. Beyond his professional achievements, he was an engaged community leader and prolific contributor to the local newspaper in the Town of Edgemont in Scarsdale, New York. His volunteer work as a firefighter and lawyer for the Greenville Fire Department exemplified his selflessness and dedication to public service and his community.
Steve's greatest joy came from his family. He was a devoted husband of more than 50 years to Beverly, with whom he built a life filled with love and laughter. Together, they raised two amazing children, Bill and Audrey, who brought him immense pride and happiness. Steve was also a loving father-in-law to Sarah and Scott and an extraordinary grandfather to Zach, Ryan, Sedona, and Sydney, to whom he offered endless support, wisdom, and affection.
