Susan Virginia Ward, 89, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away December 19, 2015. She was born in Rockledge, Georgia on March 22, 1926. Virginia graduated from A.L. Miller High School in Macon, Georgia. She was married to Robert A. Ward on August 15, 1944 and they were blessed with two children Karen and Sharoyn. Virginia loved sewing, cooking, crafts and caring for her family. Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her husband Robert and her daughter Sharoyn Langford. She is survived by her daughter Karen Trylovich of Sandy Springs, Georgia and her brother J.C. Long of Sulphur Springs, Louisiana. Funeral arrangements will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, December 28 at Eastside Baptist Church, Marietta, Georgia. Interment will be at 3:00 pm at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery in Macon, Georgia. Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 27 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at H M Patterson and Son Canton Hill, 1157 Old Canton Rd., Marietta, Georgia.
