Edith was born in McDowell County, to the late William White and Myrtle Thomas White.
She was a lifetime member of Yancy Street Baptist Church in Marion and was retired from Walco Manufacturing.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, 2 brothers and two sisters.
Edith is survived by two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at McDowell Memorial Park, Marion, NC.
