

Irma Jo Jackson, 87 of Old Fort went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Mountain Ridge Health and Rehab in Black Mountain. She was born on December 8, 1930 to the late John Crate Robinson and Cora Lee Wilson Robison.
Mrs. Irma Jackson was a high school graduate and worked for Parker Hosiery most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her late parents, four brothers, and one sister.
Irma leaves behind a very supportive, loving, caring family to cherish her memories. Her husband of 65 years; Bill Jackson of the home; two sons; Keith and Revonda Jackson of Old Fort, Mark and Malita Jackson of Davie, Florida, two grandsons; Eric and wife Whitney Jackson of Cleveland, Mississippi, Ethan Jackson also of Cleveland, Mississippi, three granddaughters; Sheri Ledford and Damon of Nebo, Holly and Matthew Clark of Nebo, and Jill and Marty Hensley of Old Fort will all miss her dearly.
A funeral service for Irma Jackson will be held on Monday, July 9th, 2018 at 12:00PM at Cherry Springs Baptist Church in Old Fort with Pastor Marty Conner and Pastor Jeff Parker officiating. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Community Cemetery in Old Fort.
