Leslie Carol Browning

Ms. Leslie Carol Browning, 45, of Marion, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 4, 2012. She is happy to be in her Heavenly Home with Jesus. Born on September 11, 1966 in Burke County, she was the daughter of Max Browning and Lucy Lawing Browning.

Ms. Browning was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, E.R. and Dessie Lawing; paternal grandparents, Theodore and Minnie Browning; uncle, Gene Browning; cousin, Robbie Browning; uncle, Clyde Lawing; and aunt, Edna Blankenship.

She is survived by her parents, Max and Lucy Browning; brother, Stewart Browning and his fiance, Rachel Murdock; nephew, Theodore Ollen; aunts, Mary Ann, Goldie and Ruth; uncle, David; and cousins and many friends.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 10, 2012 at McCall Memorial Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion with the Reverend James Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.

Ms. Browning will lie in state from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
