Teresa Faye Ward, 51, of Marion, passed away Friday, June 23, 2011 at Memorial Mission Hospital. She was born August 13, 1959 to Charles Duncan and Christine Smith Duncan. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her Grandmothers; Ida Duncan, and Dora Smith. Mrs. Ward was an avid member of the Humane Society and was a member of West Court Baptist Church. She was a devoted housewife, loving sister, and aunt.
She is survived by her husband; Charles “Dewey” Ward, of the home, father; Charles E. Duncan, of Marion, sister; Jennifer Duncan, of Marion, two brothers; James Duncan, of Raleigh, and Rusty Duncan, of Marion, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 1:00 PM at West Court Baptist Church, visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at West Court Baptist Church Cemetery.
