Warren Jerome Jackson

Warren Jerome Jackson, age 60, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012. A native of McDowell County, he was born on February 23, 1952 to Shirley Turner and McKinley Young, Jr. He was a graduate of Marion High School and a Veteran during the Vietnam Era; from September 30, 1970 to September 27, 1973, he was dismissed with an Honorable Discharge.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother Shirley Turner of CA, sister; Maxine Turner, of Los Angeles, CA, one son; Wayne Conley, of CA, two grandchildren, Doree Conley and Cierra Conley of West Virginia, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Smith officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the church. The family will also receive this week at Vera Toms on 30 Tomahawk Trail, Marion, NC.
